Science Experiments For Kids

Written by

Experiments for kids are very important to increase their grasping power, but while doing experiments kids should have all safety measures with them. They should carry all necessary apparatus or items, a wash cloth, an apron they should also see that experiments are don in room with proper ventilation system. These small things are of big use in case of any emergency, so they should carry also these necessary items with them while having any kind of experiments.
If you need to know what kind of experiments kids should perform than this article is only for you, because here I am going to list some of the important science experiments for kids. Every child is fond of doing some experiments the try to add one thing with something else to see whats the reaction? Once my kid added washing powder to soda at that time I got to know that my kid is interested in becoming a mad scientist. I started searching for various science experiments so that I can train my kid the proper way for doing an experiment.
A very simple way of conducting a small experiment is taking a plant and putting it in a dark room, after two to three days you will see that the plant is almost dead. But if you place the same plant and place it near your window where it can get proper sunlight and you water your plant regularly the plant doesnt dies any more. You can test this experiment by putting a camera on to see the plant growing every day. However this simple experiment is known as photosynthesis experiment, according to this experiment you come to know that plant requires sunlight and water to live, or else it will die within two days.
Another great experiment to teach your kid is water recycling you can take a vessel put some water in it and turn on the gas. After some time when the water start boiling you will see that the water is evaporating, the quantity of water is getting lesser. To check that the water is evaporating you need to put a cover on the vessel and after some time when you remove the cover from the vessel, you will see the water on the surface of the cover. this experiment shows how water from rivers and sea get evaporated due to heat from sunlight and perform cloud that rain afterwards.
These are some of the experiments that you can teach your kid, to get more experiment for kids please log on to madlab.com.

Creating an experiments for kids is really fantastic job I always enjoyed it in my school life, experiments for kids help us to understand the concept clearly.

Easy Earthworm Science Projects For Small Kids

Written by

Article by Magriet du Plessis

Did you know that earthworm are some of the most important and useful animals? They are very important to human life and here is an experiment to see how they survive and why it is useful to us. Please handle the earthworms with care and make sure you do not harm them at all!

Here are the supplies you will need for your earthworm science project:

* A large and wide-mouthed, clear glass jar* Gravel and small pebbles* Soil* A tin can* About 6 earthworms from your garden or anywhere you can find them* Dark construction paper* Sticky tape* A camera

Now this is what you have to do:

1. First of all, the camera is to take photos of your experiment, every step of the way as you go.2. Place the tin in the middle of the jar3. On the bottom of the jar place a layer of gravel and pebbles of about half an inch4. The layer of gravel and pebbles needs to be between the can and the glass of the jar5. Now you fill the jar with garden soil up to the height of the tin can and place the earthworms on top of this layer of soil6. Take the dark construction paper and wrap it around the jar to make sure you keep out all light.7. Secure the construction paper with the sticky tape to keep it in place8. Now you have to check the soil every now and again to see what happens9. Remember to replace the dark construction paper every time and of course you have to take a photo every time for your display10. The idea is to observe the behavior of the earthworms for a while and once you are done, you have to place them back safely in the garden, they are very precious11. Make very sure you do not harm them in any way

Now, why did you do this experiment or project and what did you see?

The earthworms feed on the soil by taking it through their bodies. In this way the worms form tunnels that aerate the soil. This aerated soil provides the plants with the oxygen they need to grow.

This is why they are such an important part of the animal world. Without the earthworms many plant species will not be able to survive and we will not have enough food.

The conclusion of our easy earthworm science project is that earthworms aerate the soil and is vital to plant life.

Plants do not only need air to grow, sow what else do they need? Have a look at the Starting The Growing Process Science Fair Project Go to: http://science-projects.knacktrack.com/science-fair-project-starting-the-growing-process/
